Admissions

The Bishop Otter Academy Trust (BOAT) is the admissions authority, responsible for the admissions policies and decisions on applications for admission to the schools within the Trust. The Trust delegates the responsibility for admissions arrangements for each academic year to the Local Governing Body of the school. They are written to comply with the School Admissions Code and School Admissions Appeals Code. Please see individual school websites for further details here.

Union officials

Trusts with more than 49 FTE employees must publish the amount of time taken off each year by staff across our schools who are union officials, to carry out union duties. For the Bishop Otter Academy Trust this time is 0 hours.

Executive Pay

As per the Academies Handbook, we must publish on our website the number of employees whose benefits exceeded £100k, in £10k bandings, for the previous year ended 31 August.   Benefits for this purpose include salary, employers’ pension contributions, other taxable benefits and termination payments.
